Facebook. Twitter. LinkedIn. Pinterest. Instagram. How are you supposed to manage all these stuff with such a busy schedule?!

Let’s face it. Real estate is a business built on relationships. You should be everyone’s best pal, that someone who never forgets Annie’s Birthday or the walking, talking local newspaper. Keeping up with everyone’s lives would be a tiring task, not to mention an expensive one. Good thing Social Media has made it easier for us to manage our relationships with little to no cost at all! However, with so many platforms, it can be hard to keep an active profile. Here are a few tricks to help you with social media.

  1. Stick to 1-3 Platforms

Most realtors jump into the conclusion that MORE is BETTER. In contrast, focusing on fewer accounts can help you nurture better relationships with clients. The trick is to identify which social media platforms have been working for you and try to get the most out of it. Also, include a link of your active accounts into your inactive accounts. That way, people will be redirected to your preferred platform.

  1. Schedule it!

Keeping up with Social Media requires good time management. Instead of thinking what to post everyday, why not plan your content for an entire week/month? Use a scheduling system such as Hootsuite to help you manage your social activities. It can also help you handle engagement with your audience.

  1. Get a Facebook Ad

For you to connect with qualified clients, the first thing you need to do is find them. Instead of wasting time trying to invite people to like your business page, why not run a Facebook Ad. These ads will allow you to target specific users. For example, you may target people living in your area, aged 25-70 yrs. old, with interests in Real Estate and Homes. This is an effective lead capturing process.

  1. When you’re out of ideas, CURATE

Already feeling nauseous about drafting that 1000 word article? Not to worry. You’re an agent by profession, not a writer. If this is the case, then start curating. Content curation is one of the most popular methods used by marketers to produce useful information. This is done by simply sharing other people’s work and adding your own input or opinion.

  1. Install Social Media Plugins

Make sure your website has built in social media functions. Include buttons in your blog post so people can immediately share what they like. This will also allow you to share your articles automatically to your social media sites instead of manually posting your content.
